RENO, Nev. – Specialty eating disorder treatment facility, Center for Hope of the Sierras, welcomes new Executive Director Brandon Keppner to the team. Keppner previously worked with Center for Hope as the executive director, and returns to the Sierra Nevada facility with a mountain of experience.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of New Haven, Conn., Keppner went on to have a career brimming with innovation in the psychiatric field.

Throughout his career, Keppner held leadership positions at top psychiatric clinics, including the Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital, Copperhills Youth Center, Eating Recovery Center, Center for Hope and Center for Hope’s parent group, the CRC Health Group.

Keppner’s skill in leadership and psychiatric healing expertise led him to create the Rubicon Consulting Group in Idaho Falls, Idaho and open the Schooley Mitchell of Aurora in Aurora, Colo.

“We are pleased to see Brandon back with us,” said Dr. Lorraine Platka-Bird, nutritionist at Center for Hope. “He has vast knowledge and a kind, welcoming spirit that fosters healing, which is exactly the type of person we like to have here at the center.”

Center for Hope’s team of experts look forward to Keppner’s enthusiasm and the forward movement he brings with him.
